Point My Home Assistant at this openHAB

Bosch accepts only ${redirectUri} as the return address for this client, so the login cannot come back to openHAB directly. That address belongs to the My Home Assistant service, which forwards the login to whatever instance URL is stored in your browser. Set it to this openHAB and the authorization completes on its own.

Open the My Home Assistant settings

The value is stored only in this browser, no Home Assistant installation is involved. Needed once per browser. When it is set for the first time, My Home Assistant may show an error afterwards; ignore it, the value is stored all the same. Afterwards the login lands on ${callbackUrl}, where this binding is listening.

Log in

If you are already signed in with your Bosch SingleKey ID in this browser, no login form will appear – you are forwarded straight through.

Confirm the forwarding

You land on a page titled Link account to Home Assistant? with two buttons. Click Link account.

The wording is misleading here: no Home Assistant is involved, the button simply forwards to the instance URL shown at the bottom of that page – this openHAB. Decline cancels the login and returns with an error.
